Back in the 1980's 1990's the readers really PAID for their magazines and personal advertisements. However sending banknotes to foreign countries was illegal and therefore they had to find other ways for paying their orders. I did accept different ART ITEMS like paintings, drawings, wooden or metal souvenirs etc as payment. This piece of art is large size and colorful as you may see. I really enjoy it and as you guess it is from INDIA.
